2023 Electrom Info Page

We’ve made some small changes to the Electrom; the hope is that these changes will make it more realistic to manufacture on a small scale and help bring the cost in line with expectations.

Our goal to produce a bike that is superior to other micro mobility solutions, and because of our unwavering commitment to the owner’s right-to-repair, these bikes will last a lifetime.

How to order a 2023 Electrom:

We wish to be fully transparent with all prospective customers. The Electrom is a fully functional e-bike but it is still evolving with the valuable feedback we are getting from users and observers. In order to continue to develop the Electrom as a viable form of micro-transportation we do need to ensure that the 2023 Electrom models are well matched to the riders and their expectations.

To do this, and due to the limited production of the 2023 Electrom, we are proposing the following application process:

  1. Register your interest in purchasing an Electrom by sending an email to ORDER@ELECTROM.CA
  2. We will respond with a short questionnaire
  3. For qualified buyers, a $1000 REFUNDABLE deposit, via PayPal will be required to add your name to the list.

Model Options

We’re going to offer two options for complete bikes–and for the hardcore mechanics–an experimenters kit consisting of just the frame, fork, and steering components. All models will share the same base mechanical parts such as the frame, steering system, and wheel size.  It is our hope that by offering some options, there will be an Electrom to fit both your budget and use-case.

The 2023 North American Beta Test Electroms will be available in two configurations:

The Original 72 Volt, Dual-Motor, Dual Battery, equipped with a full electronic accessory package  (lights, turn signals, horn) that will sell direct for
$12,900 USD + applicable taxes

72 Volt, Rear motor only, GCD, with no electronic accessories that will sell direct for $10,400 USD + applicable taxes

We have made a couple of significant changes that we would like to bring to your attention:

  • A new Front-Fairing design that is sleeker and (we hope you will agree) more attractive.
  • The bikes will be equipped with our new cargo platform instead of the composite tailbox.  The enclosed tailbox will be offered as an option.
